Areas of Practice
“I strive to provide my clients with competent, practical and efficient legal advice. I always feel a sense of accomplishment when I am able to assist my clients in achieving their goals. It is that sense of accomplishment that makes my job so incredibly rewarding.”
I grew up in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. At an early age I became interested in the legal profession. My father was a lawyer, and I spent countless hours after school assisting my dad at his law firm. In 2001 I was accepted into the College of Law at the University of Saskatchewan. I later graduated with a Juris Doctorate degree in 2004, and immediately went on to article with Johnston Ming Manning LLP. I became a partner of the firm in 2008 and have since focused my practice on the following areas:
Real Estate Transactions – Assisting clients with buying, selling, re-financing and leasing residential and commercial real estate;
Estate Planning – Guiding clients with the preparation of Wills, Enduring Powers of Attorney and Personal Directives;
Estate Administration – Advising clients on the various issues related to handling an estate, including obtaining grants of probate and administration;
Corporate Law – Assisting clients in setting up corporations, as well as dealing with the general maintenance and restructuring issues related thereto;
Commercial Transactions – Guiding clients through the process of buying or selling a business, as well as assisting borrowers and lenders with setting up commercial financing.
When I’m not assisting clients, I spend my time with my wife, Kate and my two boys, Quinn and Ben. As a family we participate in everything from travelling, waterskiing, hockey and more.
I am always happy to take on new clients. I look forward to meeting you.
