We are monitoring the situation closely and are prepared to respond\nto the rapidly changing nature of this pandemic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In an effort to slow\nthe spread of the COVID-19 virus, it is the responsibility of all to limit\nsocial contact.&nbsp; This means that we will\nall have to adapt to the way business is conducted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>JMM Law will continue\nto provide legal services, however, we will be limiting in-person\nmeetings.&nbsp; Our lawyers will meet with\nclients who have pre-arranged the meeting with the lawyer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our offices will be\nclosed to all persons that have not arranged an appointment with one of our\nlawyers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you have scheduled\nan appointment with one of our firm&#8217;s lawyers, please telephone our firm&#8217;s\nreceptionist (<strong>403-346-5591<\/strong>) and a lawyer will arrange to forthwith meet you\nat the elevator and allow you access to our offices for the meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you do not have an\nappointment but wish to speak with our lawyers, please call our receptionist at\nthe above number and we will do our best to help you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our lawyers will\ncontinue to be available by telephone and e-mail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Should physical\ndelivery of documents be required, please notify your lawyer to make safe\narrangements for delivery. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During these\nunprecedented times, we will take all appropriate measures to continue to\nprovide the services you need, when you need them.&nbsp; You will be notified when our office is once\nagain open to the public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We sincerely hope that\nyou, your families and your businesses remain healthy and safe during this\ncrisis.&nbsp; Do not hesitate to contact your\nlawyer in this firm if you have any questions.&nbsp;\nWe appreciate your understanding and flexibility as we continue to serve\nyour needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We ask that you do not\nattend our office, even if you have an appointment, if in the last 14 days, you\nor anyone in your household:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>have had any flu-like symptoms (fever, cough, or\nshortness of breath, etc.)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>have recently travelled, particularly outside of\nCanada<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>fall into a category where Alberta Health has\nrecommended self-isolation<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>have tested positive for COVID-19<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Thank you.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to evolve and have an impact in Alberta, we want to ensure we are doing our part to keep our clients and members of our firm safe, and to minimize the risk of any possible transmission in the communities where we live and work.
