Areas of Practice
Jesse began his articles with Johnston Ming Manning LLP in July 2021. Prior to joining the firm, Jesse completed his Bachelor of Arts – Criminal Justice degree at Mount Royal University. He went on to complete his J.D. at the University of Alberta. During his time there he volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada Civil Claims Duty Counsel providing legal information to self-represented litigants. Being an avid outdoorsman, he also initiated an independent research paper aimed at exploring avenues to bolster protections for National and Provincial Parks.
Throughout his academic studies, Jesse also worked in numerous oil & gas, forestry, and construction settings which have imparted to him both a practical mentality and a hardworking attitude. Using these insights, he looks forward to creating effective solutions for clients’ legal problems.
Jesse is interested in practicing in a variety of areas, including but not limited to: corporate law, commercial transactions, oil and gas, construction, real estate transactions, and wills and estate planning.
Outside the office, Jesse enjoys hiking, camping, reading, board gaming, hitting the gym, or just spending time with his partner, friends, and family.
