Mac a senior partner in the firm, has now retired, but has agreed to remain on as counsel.  He graduated from Acadia University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in geology and obtained his Bachelor of Law degree from Dalhousie University in 1961.

He articled in Red Deer with our firm, then known as Robinson, Holmes, Crowe & Power, and was admitted to the Alberta Bar in 1962 and appointed Queen's Counsel in 1977. Mac has practiced law continuously with our firm since that time and has celebrated 50 years in continuous active legal practice.

Mac has served on numerous boards locally, provincially and nationally; including a term as President of the Canadian Cancer Society Alberta and NWT Division. He has also served as a member of the Legacies and Planned Giving Committee of the Red Deer Regional Hospital Foundation, a Director of the Canada Investment Development Corporation (Two Four Year Terms), a National Director of the Canadian Cancer Society and President of the Red Deer Provincial and Red Deer Federal Progressive Conservative Associations. In 1988 Mac was awarded the Canadian Cancer Society's 50th Anniversary Certificate for Outstanding Contribution to the organization.

Mac is currently a member of the Rotary Club of Red Deer, the Masonic Lodge, and the Red Deer Shrine Club.
